It’ll probably be a wait till DVD for me, unless the reviews are outstanding or it gets nominated for best picture. (Jennifer and I are planning to go see all the nominees in one day like we did this year.) There are a lot of good people in it, and Oliver Stone always makes interesting, and sometimes very good films, but I’m just not sure I can sit through 2 or 3 hours on W’s life. I’ve already sit through almost eight years of it…

Nah. Molly Ivins said all there was to say in her book, Shrub.

This? It’s just like hitting a guy when he’s down. Not necessary and bad form, if you ask me.

I generally don’t go see movies in the theater. I made exceptions for Get Smart (which I had to see) and The Dark Knight (only because it was IMAX). But I might go see this one… not because it’s Stone, but because it is W- someone I once supported- someone who I feel betrayed my vote.

imo, too early to do a film like this. why not wait until he’s been out of office for a decade or two? (i’m thinking of movies like “nixon,” “jfk,” etc..)
no, i won’t see it in the theater b/c i hardly ever see films in the theater anymore. having a baby kind-of makes you a netflix fan!
