Battlefield Update…

This wouldn’t be so bad if the ants just paid rent and bought their own food…
I saw an ant on my nightstand and thought about Leanne’s comments, so I further inspected. Found about four working their way into my closet, so I evacuated it and discovered a fifth front. I killed a scout in the kitchen today, but that was just one. I now have battled ants in virtually every extremity of the apartment- the pantry, the fireplace, the study, the bathroom, and bedroom closet. Had I not made this discovery tonight, I’m sure it would have become a very intense battle in the coming days.
Wait… I see one now… and it just met the Thumb of Joe its forefathers spoke of. My Ortho seems to be ineffective. I find myself looking around constantly. Feeling phantom itches. They’re here. They’re watching me. They taunt me….

i have to admit…you’re being pretty creative with the ant story. i find myself thinking about Joe’s ants. tell me you’re wearing a WWII combat helmet as you sit at your computer.

Dude, call the office. This is their responsibility.
Document everything and if they fail to handle it, they have violated the lease and you can move. Not fun, but neither are ants, so…

Art, did that on Tuesday. They said they only spray on Tuesdays, and I missed the cutoff that day. Which meant another week before they’d come out. So I have to hold down the fort until I go back to New Orleans for two weeks on Sunday.

Byron, let’s just say it’s an imaginary WW2 helmet… but it’s there.

So, this is in TEXAS, right? Yet another reason to justify my now intense dislike of the formerly beloved state.
Seriously, this is just ridiculous. Want me to come over and handle it all PNW and “green” like?
If that’s off the table, try some of these remedies. No one should have to endure Ortho or any other kind of spray.
