Hello Foto [11.02.07]…

Wednesday night at Edgewater we had a Fall Festival. I know it’s commonplace for many churches to have Fall Festivals instead of Halloween, but in New Orleans post-Katrina it’s especially important to have safe events for kids to have a good time. I had several families mention how glad they were we had ours while I was taking portraits. In a time when it sometimes seems easy to mock churches that are attractional and event-driven instead of missional, it’s always good to remember that events like this can be a great encouragement to the entire community.

Anyway, here are two of my favorite pictures- both of friends and Edgewater members. The first is Katie, and the second is the happy engaged couple, Daniel and Laura. Love these guys.
