That Jesus Thing…

Slow blogging because I’m working on things before I leave for my trip to Canada on Saturday. Luckily, Kevin Bussey tagged me so now I get to tell you five things I dig about Jesus. I can do that.

  1. Jesus wept. The man had incredible compassion, and he showed it.
  2. Jesus was creative. From his parables, stories, and illustrations to his days as a carpenter, to his time as the Creator of pretty much everything, Jesus was creative.
  3. Jesus came. The ultimate missionary, Jesus was sent by our Father to live as a human and as a Jew. God came here.
  4. Jesus died. You knew it was coming. For more on why this is important, start here and read through it all.
  5. Jesus got up. Really, that’s the coolest part. He died, and he wasn’t dead anymore.

    What I “love” about Jesus:

    1) Jesus has always been the Son of God…before time ever began.

    2) Jesus had a sense of humor—Look who HE choose as His disciples! Look who HE chooses now.

    3) Jesus knows me better than I know myself.
