Cooking with Joe [05.09.07]…

Tonight I made two more pizzas, although I used the same amount of dough I did last night. These are for a semester-end party. I think it still turned out well.

Above you see the cheese pizza. Like last night, it’s got alfredo sauce, oregano, basil, red pepper flakes, parmesean, mozarella, romano, and two kinds of feta.

The other pizza has a tomato sauce instead of alfredo, and the same ingredients as the first. I also added some turkey pepperoni.

[Original Post: 05.08.07] Tonight I made my own pizza. By that I mean I made my own dough and everything. Totally from scratch. It’s my first pizza from scratch, too, which is why this is so amazing. I found the recipe on a diabetic food site, but it’s not carb-friendly. Luckily, I’m doing this for a class party, so I’m not eating much of it (I had a tiny sliver to taste test it). Tonight’s pizza was topped with alfredo sauce, two kinds of feta cheese, mozarella, parmesan, romano, oregano, some Italian herbs, and a healthy dose of red pepper flakes. No meat this time, but tomorrow (Wednesday), I’m making one with red sauce and pepperoni. Pictures to come with an updated post.
