On Bob Larson…

I’ve been studying spiritual warfare this semester, and last week we watched a video on Bob Larson. The particular video we viewed in class did nothing for me, and actually left us all very skeptical about his legitimacy. (Granted, a prior conversation a month ago helped the skepticism beforehand.) In our video from class, Larson quoted about three or four passages or verses from the Bible (one Old Testament, the rest New Testament, all completely out of context), spoke a few words about how they related to his understanding, and then proceeded to throw around pop psychology and ridiculousness around for the remaining thirty minutes. Nothing he said in that video was legitimate.
This video, which my friend Owen sent me, questions Larson’s financial honesty and integrity. Watch it and see. It reminds me of the longer videos from the news conglomerates on Benny Hinn.

I think Bob Larson left his legitimacy behind about 20 years ago when he went off into this exorcism thing and started finding demons under every rock.

Bob has changed his mind so many times too. He used to be against Christian Rock then he embraced it. However I use his book of cults regularly.
