Hello Foto [11.24.06]…

Here’s the Thanksgiving 2006 edition of Hello Foto. Last Saturday night I found time to go to the West Bank of New Orleans and take a few pictures. The sights were great. It really made me thankful that I get to live in such a beautiful and unique city. The mural is on the steps up to the top of the levee across from Bauman Street in Algiers Point. Coordinates: +29° 57′ 18.34″, -90° 3′ 2.69″. The second, of course, is a cityscape of New Orleans from the top of the same levee, a good bit west toward the ferry. Coordinates: +29° 57′ 16.12″, -90° 3′ 19.32″. I really do live in one of the coolest cities in the world.
