Black Enterprise…

For a few months now I’ve been receiving Black Enterprise Magazine at my folks’ home in Mobile. I’m not entirely sure how or why, but I thought it was sweet of someone to give me a subscription. It’s certainly news to me. So to whomever signed me up- thanks. I’m not sure why you signed me up, but I appreciate it. I just better not get a bill.
Among the things I’ve learned while reading Black Enterprise:
Don Thompson was promoted to president of McDonald’s USA in August 2006, after a sixteen year career with the company.
Automotive advertisements in African-American magazines are much cooler than those in other magazines I’ve read (such as National Geographic Adventure, ESPN the Magazine, and Popular Science).
The Write Way to Grow: Entrepreneurs discover that self-published books add to the bottom line
If Henry Ford, Jr. (D) wins his election in Tennessee this November, he will join Barak Obama (D., Illinois) as one of two African-Americans in the US Senate.
