Answering Questions…

A friend and I have been discussing the revelation of God (not Revelation) lately, and I think at the root of the issue is this question: “Is it possible for a person to understand God outside of what is revealed in the Scriptures?” When it’s posed like that, I’m not sure where I stand. I’ve been arguing that we CAN understand God in some way outside of the Scriptures, meaning even if I’ve never read the Bible, I can understand a little bit of what God feels through my own experiences. So what do you think?
