On Social Security…

Shifting modes from my normal self-absorbed religious thoughts to self-absorbed political thoughts, I wanted to pose a question (or some). I don’t think I’ve mentioned politics since last November, but here it is. My question(s).

What is BAD about Bush’s plan to privatize social security? Why is it so bad to privatize it?

If you want to, tell me the good. But tell me the bad.

Then tell me what the Democrats’ solution to the problem is. And why is it good, why is it bad?

Obviously the status quo is bad. So there are the questions. I figured I’d come up with more than one. If you happen to read this, and know anything, comment. Otherwise, I guess you won’t be reading it. Peace.
