Small, Small World…

It never ceases to amaze me how small this world really is. Or maybe it’s just Louisiana, Tennessee, Mississippi, and Alabama. Sunday I found out Rebecca knows Brad Johnson from Northeast CC up in Northeast Mississippi. That’s tight cuz Brad was my boy back at the University of Mobile. Tuesday in class I found out that this girl Megan who sits next to me mentored my girl Ashley at LSU last semester. That she knows my people like that is stinkin sweet. Then Tuesday night I found out that Brett Golson, my Pastoral Ministry professor was the man who married my brother and his wife back 7 or 8 years ago. I was the best man at that wedding, and Brett used to have prayer time with Rick back in the day. And then today I found out that my friend and the recently engaged Michelle Badon served overseas with Derek Webster in Austria as a journeyman. It’s the small stuff like that that just gets me thinking of how cool it is that they know each other. Man, it IS a small world. That makes me excited.
