An Update for Today…

Date March 24, 2005 | 2:48 AM

First off, let me just say how great my time with the people from FBTC was this past Saturday at the Zoo and Aquarium. It was very good to reconnect with old friends. Pictures should be uploaded sometime soon, as soon as I get back to PJ’s again. Thanks to campus dial-up I do broadband stuff at PJ’s on Paris and Robert E. Lee, but I forgot the files Tuesday night. Soon.

Monday night I dropped James off at the airport as I picked Justin up. James’ flight didn’t leave until 6:50 AM the next morning but he wanted to spend some time in the airport just talking to people and studying. So he spent the night in New Orleans International Airport. On the way back to campus, Justin and I talked about “things” and I ended up real reflective. “If they knew how much I loved them, they wouldn’t have done the things they did.” A little later I just thought about that comment. I have to imagine that’s something God says to us. “Forgive them, for they know not what they do.” Us and God, we’re not too different sometimes. And then sometimes we’re complete opposites.
