Nothing Huge…

Made it through another day. Must mean God has a plan for me yet. Every day I live is a day God has something planned for my life. Seems like a huge “Duh” to me, but it never hurts to remind myself. Had a few restless nights lately. It’s only by the grace of God I was lucid this morning at Edgewater. Had to be on my toes too, Dr. Stewart got me all twisted on powerpoint during his sermon the first service, and just as I had that down, I got jumbled up in the worship during the second service. I ran PowerPoint for Element (meeting of all the GNO BCMs) last semester, and even though a very very good friend led worship, I almost never found myself able to run the PPT and worship at the same time. Not effectively anyway. Maybe I’m just getting better, maybe not, I don’t know really, but it’s been easier at Edgewater. At least as far as singing TO God and simultaneously running the computer. But that’s really not a big deal.
After church a few of us (Dave, Ben, Justin, Doug, and I) went to Liz and Kabes’ place and chilled. We even got old Matt Blair on speakerphone and had a good chat. He’s doing great. Man I miss that guy. We watched The Terminal after that. Good movie. But I have a thing for airports. Hit up the Walmart on Tchoupitoulas and man we were there for-ever. Crazy. And I think I ruined one of my good shirts. Magic marker rubbed off on it. Tomorrow I’ll try to wash and see what happens. Stinks. Need new shoes (these’ll last a while though). Need more shirts. Oh well. Ain’t no thing. Just gotta watch the bottom line more. I guess that’s all for now. Got some people to talk to tomorrow. Meeting with Michael at Edgewater just to talk about my call and random other stuff. And some phone calls to make. And some reading to do. So that’s all. Out.
