Friday-Monday Update…
August 30, 2004 | 7:35 PM
Friday night I went home, on a spur decision, and drove down the Mississippi Gulf Coast- a scenic route with a nice blend of God’s creation and Man’s blurry distractions. The coast has grown a lot since I lived there, we left over 10 years ago now, but still. Massive growth and too many casinos. I got home and had another heart to heart with Angela, because we needed to have one of those.
Saturday I went to lunch with Rick and Janet and then chilled for the day, before coming back to NOBTS that evening.
Yesterday, Sunday, I took Yo Han to Edgewater with me. I decided to begin the membership process and soon I hope to be a full-fledged member of EBC. (Sorry guys at FBTC, I love ya’ll, but it’s time to move on.) Brent and I went to get some Chinese at the China Rose in the Robert E. Lee shopping center. DO NOT GO THERE. Bad, bad, bad. That night I got the power point stuff for tonight from Matt and Justin.
Today. Today I slept in, because I don’t have class on Mondays except once every month or so (Next is on Sept. 13). I got some small stuff done and tonight I’m going to run power point for Matt and Justin at UNO’s FCA meeting. Hopefully it will go well. I’ve done this enough now to not have any anxiety. At least it’s something to do. I’m also recording the service so Matt can have something to send out showing him leading worship, and Justin can have a sermon on DVD to see what he looks like preaching. Both valuable. I wish someone would have done that for me at FBTC. Oh well.
OK, I got EasyMac getting cold. Later.
